Refrigerant R32
R32 refrigerant, which is a member of the HFC family of refrigerants and also known as difluoromethane, is becoming the preferred choice to replace other gases such as R-410A and R-407C due to its lower Global Warming Potential. Its chemical formula is CH2F2. The Montreal Protocol of 1987 led to the phase-out of ozone depletion gaseous, and R-410A and R-407C were developed to replace ozone depletion refrigerants like R22. Since Difluoromethane makes up a significant portion of both R-410A and R-407C, it's widely available in the market.
